How much is my face worth?

Hey everyone so today I am doing the 'How much is my face worth tag' post. I have seen this tag floating around the blogging world for a while now so I thought I would do it for you. Unfortunately I am not putting a picture of me wearing this makeup look as I am not very well and not up to wearing makeup at the moment. This is the makeup I wear when I am going to college as it is not too in your face but still noticeable.

NYC all day long foundation- £3.99

NYC show time mascara- £1.99

Barry M natural glow shadow and blush palette- £6.49

Be a bombshell eyeliner- £9.00

Total face cost:  £31.95.

I am shocked that the most expensive thing I use is my eyeliner! But I love it! Keep your eyes peeled for reviews on these products in the coming weeks.

What I did this week #2

Hey everyone so its Sunday which means it is time for my What I did this week post!

This week hasn't been a very good week for me so this post is going to be very boring. I am not looking for sympathy at all with this post, I am starting this series and I am sticking to it no matter how boring it is!

Sunday- I stayed in bed all day because I was starting with flu!

Monday- I went to work which I really shouldn't of done!

Tuesday- I stayed in bed all day reading blog posts!

Wednesday- I went into college as I was only in for a few hours and I done manicure!

Thursday- I ended up at the doctors on a nebuliser as I couldn't breath properly. On the night I was at the emergency doctors with the same problem but they didn't do anything!

Friday- I went back to the doctors as I was still struggling to breathe and had a big pain in my lungs. They sent me home with tablets. My mums friend came round on the night and we had a laugh, which made me feel a bit better!

Saturday- I spent the whole day in hospital! We finally found out what is wrong, due to my flu I have pulled the main muscles around my ribs that is causing the same amount of pain as it would if I have broken ribs. I had to have a needle in my leg to stop me being sick and am now finally on the mend. On a happier note I got my first ever MAC lipstick and two maybelline colour tattoo's.

1. Why do you like blogging? I love blogging as it is something I can do that helps me escape the rest of the world and write about things I enjoy. I also love the community that comes with blogging, it is a great way to meet new people who have the same interests as you.

2. How did you come up with your blog name? I came up with 'Makeup by Keira' as I base my blog mainly on mainly on makeup and hoping to do some Makeup looks. And the final part is my name, and as the blog is made by me it all makes sense.

3. Where from the UK do you come from? I come from Cumbria, right at the top of England next to Scotland.

4.  Favorite colour? As you can tell from my blog colour scheme, it is pink.

5. Do you like Lana Del Ray? Not really no! I don't really listen to her as her songs aren't really my thing.

6. Hidden talents that you have? I can bend my feet round the other way.

7. Celebrity crush? Peter Andre, my mum has got me tickets for his concert next year! I am so excited. I also like Tom Daley.

8. Favorite blog of all time? Argh this is such a hard one I really can't pick one.

9. What made you want to join #BritishBloggerSelection? I am always on the look out to find new blogger groups and this is a great way to get to know so many more new british bloggers.

What I did this week #1

Hi everyone so every Sunday I am going to be doing a 'What I did this week' post telling you what I got up to in the past week so here goes!

Sunday- I went to my dads to see my sister who had traveled up from London for the half term.

Monday-I worked.

Tuesday- I worked again.

Wednesday- I went round to my dads again to see my sister one last time and to see my little cousin.

Thursday- I went with my friend to take her niece and nephew trick or treating.

Friday- I went into town with my friend then we went to a halloween party for children in need, was a great night!

Saturday- Me and my friend went to town again then went to the bonfire/ fireworks display in the local park.

Hi everyone so today I am going to be doing my Lush Christmas Wishlist. The Christmas stock came out a week ago and I am yet to try them out yet so here is some of things I want to try.

1. Bombardino- Sit back and relax in a bath of creamy Alpine indulgence. With skin-softening cocoa butter and uplifting Sicilian lemon oil- £2.50.

2. Luxury Lush Pud- This year, our Lil' Lush Pud has had a luxurious makeover... with soothing lavender fragrance and calming pastel colours, this bath bomb is perfect for bed time, or any time you want to relax- £3.40.

3. Shoot for the stars- This ones for all you star gazers out there, creating a magnificent bath with swirling lusters and beautiful colours. As various and enchanting as the night star- £3.25.

4. Candy Mountain- This fair trade vanilla absolute, sparkling snowflake lustre and creamy cornflour in Candy Mountain make bath time a sweet treat for big kids as well as little kids. We've included some of our bubble crumble mix which adds a magical pink mist to the peaks of foaming bubbles- £2.65.

Hey everyone so today I have a tag for you all. I am going to be doing the 15 beauty questions, I have put all my own questions instead of the ones normally on the tag.

 

1) If you could only choose one beauty product what would it be?

Mascara.

 

2) Favourite foundation?

I really like NYC lasting finish.

 

3) Favourite mascara?

Benefit they're real.

 

4) Name one brand you would like to try but haven't.

MAC, everyone loves MAC lipsticks but I am yet to try the brand.

 

5) Product not worth the hype?

Maybelline Babylips, I caved in but was disappointed.

 

6) Product that isn't hyped up enough?

MUA liquid eyeliner.

 

7) How do you apply your foundation?

I use my fingers but I am waiting on my beauty blender to come.

 

8) Favourite colour for eyes?

Natural colours.

 

9) Do you wear false lashes?

Nope, my natural lashes are long enough.

 

10) What colour do you like to wear on the lips?

Pinks but not too bright.

11) If you could only buy from one brand what would it be?
I really like MUA, very affordable too.

12) High end or drugstore?
Drugstore, in my eyes you can get drugstore products that are just as good as high end.

13) One beauty thing you wish you could do?
Contour properly! I always look like I have mood splattered on my face.

14) Favourite brand for nail varnish?
I love Sinful colours, they are so affordable and good quality.

15) Favourite shop to buy makeup from?
Superdrug
