Beauty Haul

Hi everyone so last weekend I popped into town and picked up a few beauty items. I firstly went to superdrug where I picked up 2 of the new MUA power pouts. I got them in the shades Rendezvous which in the packaging looks like a nude brown but it is actually a pink colour and Broken hearted which is a bright pink. So far I love them and they smell and taste so minty. These are £3 each.
I then went to boots where I picked up 3 of the sinful colours nail polishes. These have quickly become my favorite nail polish brand. I picked up the colours 'Why Not' which is a neon blue, '24'7' which is a neon pink and 'I miss you' which is a purple with lots of different colour glitter running through it. These are £1.99

Temple Spa Purification Face Mask Review

Hi everyone so today I have a review for you. After my auntie posted the link to my blog on her facebook one of her friends who owns templaspa.co.uk told my auntie she would be intrested in sending me an item to review. She sent me a lovely face mask, I love facemasks and using them on a regular basis so seeing this was a facemask put a massive smile on my face.

WHAT IT SAYS:
A vacuum cleaner for the skin. This is a superb rich face mask made from land and marine mud and natural extracts known for their dislike of blocked pores, blackheads and other irritating effects cased by oily skin. PURIFICATION has been specifically designed to tackle oily skin problems by keeping oil at bay and leaving the skin clean, cool and refreshed. Includes spatula.
Effective spot and blackhead treatment.
Deep cleansing properties
Flushes out grime from blocked pores
Sophisticated, high performance formula
Skin feels cool, refreshed, clean and oil free
Rich in minerals from land and sea
Anti-Aging benefits
Paraben free
Professional Spa Mask Formula.

WHAT I THOUGHT:
Well I have been using this product once a week for the past 3 weeks and I love it. The smell is amazing, it has a very strong scent of tea tree. I cleanse my face and apply this just before I get in the bath then I lie back in the bath for about 20 minutes and then wash this off. When I wash it off my skin feels great, it isn't oily and feels so soft. I had a spot that appeared and I applied this straight away and it stung at first but the spot had gone within about a day which is great for me as they never really disappear that quickly. My skin is very oily, blackhead and spot prone and I can see a difference with using this.
Price: £22
Hope you all enjoyed this post!

May Glossybox 2013

Hi guys so its glossy box time again. My May glossy box came about a week ago but I haven't had to time to write a post up yet as I have been revising for my exams which are in the next few weeks. This is the second glossy box that I have had and so far I have liked both of these. This month is celebrating their 2 year birthday. It came in the normal glossybox packaging with birthday themed tissue paper inside. As it was their birthday we received a little extra treat and if I am correct if you have been a member for over a year you got a little bar of chocolate. I have only tried of these products yet but if you would like a review of them when I have tried them, let me know and I will do one for you.

First up is the fairy lashes mascara by Jelly pong pong. I love mascaras so I was really excited when I seem this. It claims that it is non-clumping, lengthening and volumising. This is full sized and would £15

Another thing is a nail varnish by headline colours. I got the shade 'twisted silk' which is a lovely off white pink type of colour. I have tried this product and to be fair I loved the colour but it didn't seem to last very long on my nails. It chipped after 1 day. This was also full size and would cost £9 to buy.

I also received l'occitane en Provence angelica hydration cream. I gave this to my mum as it isn't the type of thing I would use. It says this is a hydration cream that will leave your skin looking plumped, smoothed and absolutely radiant. I don't think my mum has tried this yet. For 50ml this will cost £30.

I also got the Caudalie Divine Oil. You can use this on your body, face, hair, nails and you can add it to a hot bath. I have used the avon argan oil on my hair for about 7 months but I have recently stopped using this as my hair started feeling constantly greasy and since I stopped using it my hair feels great, so I will be trying this on my hair. I also will be using this in the bath. For 15ml which is the size I got is £4.50.

I also got the Beautiful Movements Cosmetics prime & create. I don't really get this product? I have seen a few people say they wasn't sure what this is. I think you just apply this before your foundation. I tried this on the back of my hand and I really didn't like the feel of it felt very oily which isn't good for me as I have oily skin. The full size is 20g and will cost £20.

Last off all was a pack of Glossybox mini nail files. These are handy to just pop into your handbag incase you need to file your nails whilst you're out and about. These were a little gift from glossybox as it is their birthday.

Hope you all enjoyed this post

Colours of the rainbow tag

Hey guys so today I am going to be doing the colours of the rainbow tag. If you haven't heard of the colours of the rainbow tag its basically you take the colours of the rainbow and find one product that matches of the colour. I didn't think it would be hard to find a products for each colour but it really was! I seen this on TalkBeckyTalk youtube and thought it was a good idea so had to do it myself.

RED- The product I picked for red is this body shop cranberry joy body polish. This smells just like christmas to me, most people like the cinnamon smell at christmas, I don't I prefer cranberry. I have only used this one but it is very much like a body scrub.

YELLOW- For yellow I picked the avon argan oil. I use this every time I wash my hair. I am not going into too much detail as I know this will be hard to read. Review coming soon!

PINK- For pink I have my pink grapefruit and lime candle by sainsburys. This has quickly become my favorite candle. I love the strong scent of the pink grapefruit. I love lighting this when I have my bath.

GREEN- For green I borrowed this off my mum as I don't own anything green! This is the body shop cucumber cleansing milk. She received this in a gift set off a friend at christmas.

ORANGE- For orange I chose this avon shower gel that was currently in my shower. Now I am not good with smells but I think the smells like mango, shoot me if I am wrong!

PURPLE- For purple I picked my bubble bath. This has to be the best bubble I have ever tried. It is really cheap and I wasn't expecting it to be that good but it really is, the smallest amount gives you lots of bubbles. The scent isn't that nice but I don't really care.

BLUE- For blue I picked this BarryM Gelly hi-shine polish in blueberry. I love the gelly hi-shine polishes. I will be doing a nail polish collection on my blog very soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Hope you all enjoyed this. I will just give a quick apology about the yellow writing. I didn't write much as I knew it would be hard to read but I basically just said what it was and that I will be reviewing it soon.

Thanks guys

How to make a lip scrub.

Hey guys so today I am going to be telling you how to make your very own lip scrub. I used to have the one from lush in the bubblegum flavour. I really liked it but I think £5 is quite expensive. After doing some research on the internet I found a tutorial on a website on how to make it. I have to admit I didn't follow it exactly but here is how I made it.

First off I added some caster sugar. I didn't follow the guide for this I kinda just poured in as much I thought was need. I then added half a teaspoon of olive oil and a squirt of honey. The next part is optional. I added pink food colouring but it looks more red, and some peppermint flavoring. Of course if you choose to add colour and flavouring you can choose whatever colour and flavour you like but I suggest for the colour you pick a red or pink colour as it will stain your lips a little so choosing blue or green wouldn't be a good idea unless you like having green lips haha.

Thanks guys
